Mike has over 20 years of public relations and marketing experience, specializing in event planning, media relations, crisis management and brand outreach and development. He has lead numerous clients through complex PR outreach and management, included developing key talking points, developing unique and differentiating tactics and helping clients navigate the complexity of achieving successful publicity results in an ever-changing digital world.
Additionally, his experience in rebranding includes assisting RTP’s Implus Corporation through the rebranding of a women’s insole line resulting in a 25% increase of sales within the brand category. Mike has also helped multiple clients develop new branded logo designs and accompanying brand standards.
Notable client experience includes: Park West Village, New Balance, Toll Brothers, Rex Healthcare, Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, Implus Corporation, Fuentek, Gregory Poole Equipment Company and Lonnie Poole Golf Course, as well as sports-based charities for Tony Womack, Josh Hamilton, and Albert Pujols and golf course openings for Arnold Palmer, Fred Couples, Tom Kite, Davis Love III.
Mike is a graduate of North Carolina State University. He and his wife Lynn have two daughters, Savannah and McKenzie. Mike is an avid fútbol fan and coach of two Youth Challenge Club teams having coached local clubs for 8 years.
