Ann-Marie has over 20 years experience in branding, advertising, media placement, promotions and consulting, with an emphasis in sports marketing. She has extensive experience in developing national public relations campaigns and advertising plans, as well as creating and facilitating corporate partnerships and sponsorships for clients including the North Carolina FC (née RailHawks), the V Foundation for Cancer Research, the Carolina Hurricanes, Teamworks, NC State Athletics Department, the NC State Wolfpack Club, UNC Athletics, Premiere Global Sports, Kay Yow Cancer Fund, the Atlantic Coast Conference, Arizona State University, and Wake Forest University Athletics.
Additionally, Ann-Marie has served on a variety of executive committees such as the Raleigh Sports Council Steering Committee, the Student Advisory Council at The Franciscan School, and as a Division Manager for eight years for the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic. Previously, Ann-Marie was the Director of Marketing and Promotions at NC State University where she served on many ACC, NCAA and Bowl Committees. Sales was also the Tournament Manager and Marketing Director for numerous ACC and NCAA events that were hosted by NC State, including the College Cup.
A native of Massena, New York, Ann-Marie is a graduate of North Carolina State University and is married to Tony Sales, who currently serves as Assistant Director of Athletics/Student-Athlete External Affairs at Duke University. They have three children, Isabella (13) and Anthony (8) and Francesca (6).
